Here is an aerial image of the world famous Royal Gorge Bride high above the Arkansas River near Canon City Colorado. The bridge spans 1260′ across the Royal Gorge and rises 955′ feet above the river. Built in 1929 it was once the highest suspension bridge in the United States. Well worth the visit.
