When you hire an aerial photographer in Colorado, you want to be confident that the team you choose is capable, skilled, experienced, and reliable. Imagewerx Aerial Photography has been photographing Colorado (and the surrounding states) from above for almost twenty years. If you’d like to learn more about what sets us apart and why you should consider us for your next aerial photography assignment, keep reading to find answers to questions previous clients have asked when making the decision to work with us.
QUESTION #1: Why Should I Hire Imagewerx?
In a word, experience. With over 18 years of experience, we have had plenty of time to master the techniques of our industry. This is our full-time professions, and we fly hundreds of projects every year. In fact, we are often contracted by other aerial photography businesses in Colorado (and around the nation) because of our phenomenal finished product.
QUESTION #2: How Does Imagewerx Get Many Of Its Clients?
We are fortunate to have many repeat customers, which we believe is a testament to the quality of work that we deliver. Many new clients find us online from our website or hear about us through word-of-mouth referrals. We also receive clients through our membership with PAPA (the Professional Aerial Photographers Association). We are fortunate to have the credibility and valuable networking opportunities that come from our membership with PAPA and other professional organizations.
QUESTION #3: Is Imagewerx Currently Able To Accept New Clients?
Always! We are blessed to have a long list of existing clients, but we are always happy to do anything we can to enhance the projects of our new clients as well. Each project teaches us something new, and we are always excited to learn what each new opportunity has in store.
QUESTION #4: What If My Project Seems Smaller Or Bigger Than The Other Work That Imagewerx Has Done?
The simple answer to this question is that there is no project too big OR too small. We have worked with global construction companies on projects that spanned multiple years and totaled hundreds of millions of dollars, and we have also provided images for small local builders, roofing companies, solar companies, and even individual homeowners.
QUESTION #5: What Is The Typical Duration Of A Project?
What is “typical” varies greatly from client to client and project to project. We have worked on projects that have lasted anywhere from a single day to three years (or, in some cases, even longer). Construction assignments generally begin just before groundbreaking and end once construction is complete, which allows clients to view and track the project’s progress throughout its various phases. Most sites are photographed monthly or bimonthly. We have also worked with clients who want their sites photographed weekly, as well as clients who only desired a single session.
QUESTION #6: Do You Focus On Any Particular Industries Or Projects?
In a word, no. Our focus is on our customers, not their industries. Just as we work with projects of all sizes, we are happy to work with clients of all industries. Our location at Centennial Airport (just south of Denver, Colorado) gives us quick access to runways so we can easily get to your sites, wherever they may be. Oil and gas companies, airports, construction companies, travel agencies, and real estate agencies are a few examples of the types of clients we have worked with over the years. Visit our website for a more comprehensive list of our diverse client base.
QUESTION #7: How Do You Determine The Cost Of A Project?
Our cost is mostly based on the location of the project. In 2015, we provided aerial photographs for multiple types of projects in twenty different states, including Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Oregon and our home state of Colorado. We are always happy to provide free, no-obligation quotes to anyone considering hiring an aerial photographer.
QUESTION #8: How Quickly Can We Begin Once I’ve Signed On?
In the professional world, the ability to act quickly is crucial. Once we have agreed upon the project details with our clients, we can typically complete the flight within a 24-hour period. Mother Nature sometimes dictates when we are able to fly, but as a full-time aerial photography business, we are generally able to photograph projects on short notice.
QUESTION #9: How Long Do I Have To Wait For My Photos?
We pride ourselves on top-quality service, and part of that includes an impressively quick turn-around. We don’t want you to have to wait for your images. We promise that you will have your images within 24 hours of our flight. In many cases, we are able to get our clients’ images to them within the same day.
QUESTION #10: Do You Work With Any Government Agencies?
The government projects we are involved in are typically quite large. As a result, we are generally hired by a subcontractor that is working for the government agency sponsoring a specific project.
